Welcome to the Colorado Psychedelic Practitioners Cohort

The Colorado Psychedelic Practitioners Cohort is a peer-led group of over 500 current and aspiring psychotherapists and psychedelic facilitators committed to realizing the mental health potential of psychedelics.

The psychedelic medicines legally accessible in Colorado offer profound opportunities to revolutionize mental health and healing. However, the training required to skillfully and safely facilitate these experiences is lacking compared to other mental health and healing programs. Those who can afford psychedelic training programs still have a shortage of opportunities to hone their skills and practice psychedelic facilitation together with other professionals before working with members of the public.

The Colorado Psychedelic Practitioners Cohort was created to bridge that gap. By fostering affordable, accessible, peer-led training and practicum opportunities, we empower practitioners, facilitators, and therapists to engage with these medicines responsibly and effectively.

Peer-Led Model

Every member of the Cohort has the opportunity to propose and host events or trainings, creating a dynamic and shared learning environment (organizer screening ensures quality and safety).

Collaborative Retreats

Longer retreats are designed with space for participants to present and contribute, embodying a spirit of co-creation and collective wisdom.

Holistic Focus

Beyond psychedelic training, we emphasize trauma-informed care, harm reduction, equitable access, and ethical facilitation practices—foundational aspects of truly transformative and safe Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy.
